In a TV interview, the President of Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky, refused to answer a question about ways to repair relations with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
During the meeting, journalists asked Zelensky what needs to be done to achieve peace in Ukraine, "how can Putin be understood, and how should we work with him."
The President of Ukraine replied, "I am afraid that I will not be able to tell the viewers this, because it will not lead to a result and will not work later. Because everyone will watch this program, even he will watch it. I am sure of that."
Zelensky expressed his confidence that Kiev would be able to "confront" Russia, if Ukraine joined NATO.
Zelensky accused Moscow of curbing the implementation of the Minsk agreements, and expressed his hope for "the return of lost lands."
